5/30/08--I just sent The Naked Laird off to my editor this morning.
Whew! And I also just added a link to a new review of the Gent--see my
reviews page.
Now I'm taking the weekend "off" and then diving into the edits of The Naked
Baron. Speaking of diving in, the pools here are open and that means
the swim season has started. I'm in the first year of my two year term
as president of our local league and the "baby" is swimming his last season,
so the summer will be hectic!
5/16/08--April and the first half of May have gone by in a blur. If you
want the details, I've covered most of them in my
newsletter.
A couple highlights--The Naked Laird is just about ready to go off to my
editor (!) and I now have a title for the anthology. Lords of Desire
(ooo--hot, huh?) will be out in February. The Naked Baron will be
released in May, so I'll have two new Naked guys on bookstore shelves next
year. Also, I just got copies of the Spanish Naked Duke. Check
out my Around The
World page to see the cover. Finally, I'm excited to be part of
the Unleash Your Story
effort to fight Cystic Fibrosis. More information will be coming as
September approaches.
4/8/08--I'm getting ready to go to the
NECRWA conference
this weekend. I'm polishing up (ahem, writing) the workshop I'm giving
with my pal Caroline Linden.
I hope I'll see some of you at the book signing! But before I head
off, I wanted to share some good news--The Naked Gentleman was selected as a
Blue Ribbon Favorite of the month at Romance Junkies! You can link to
the review from my review page, but here's the cool graphic they sent me!
4/1/08--Happy April Fool's Day! Today is The Naked Gentleman's
official release date, but he snuck out just about everywhere a week or two
ago. I was just up in New York City for the Novelists, Inc. conference
and I visited the Gent in both Barnes & Noble and in Borders. Some
Barnes & Nobles have taken displays that include all four books, so if
you've been searching for a Naked Duke, you may be in luck! I'll be
traveling quite a bit in April--check my
Happenings page for my scheduled
appearances--so perhaps our paths will cross. I'll try to post
pictures--I always bring my camera, but I don't always remember to use it!
I did just post a few new
pictures as well
as links to a few
reviews.
3/3/08--Can you believe it's less than a month until The Naked Gentleman is
on bookstore shelves? My editor tells me some bookstores may have
free-standing displays of all the Naked books, so keep your eyes peeled for
that. Reviews are starting to come in--I'm adding them to my
review page. I'm hard at work on a new Naked story--The Naked Laird. It's a novella
and will be appearing in February 2009. My
newsletter has
all the details that I know at the moment. And it looks like The Naked
Baron will be taking his bow in spring 2009.
